I feel like it was supposed to air earlier in the season, and they showed it out of order. They were supposed to expelled and they were at school at some point I think? And it was just super random.
I think you're right, because as I recall Jeyne Westerling is real dud in the books. Here I'm at least interested to see where this is going with this character and Robb.
I watched Melancholia last week, and I really wanted to like it and "get" it, but ugh. I was just not into it. I almost fell asleep during the second part.
I mean, it was very well acted and all, and I definitely liked the wedding portion more so. Mostly bored though.
I wrote and deleted a couple of responses to this, and I can't adequately write what I'm thinking if that makes any sense. I am VERY bothered by this and VERY bothered by the opinions expressed here by the lady loving folks. It all just reads to me as, "welp, they're hot and funny so it's all good if they objectify themselves and we reap the awards!"
I also feel silly for getting so upset about this stupid thing which isn't really an issue, but, you know, feminism.
UGH, ok, so these were some of first things I saw on my tumblr dashboard this morning and it kind of annoys me! These are two very funny women! They consistently make Community a funnier and better show, and it wouldn't be the same without them but all I ever see online (even on this site) is them in a sexualized form, and it's just stupid. They're more then that.
So I see these earlier this morning, and then I come to one my favorite websites (which I don't regularly comment on myself) and I see this. I didn't think you had to be a lady to see these are troublesome, but I guess I'm the only one that does?
tl;dr: Can we really only talk about how attractive hot funny women are?
I was out of town during the performance review last week, so I couldn't comment, but I'm glad to see my big complaint, lack of Trader Joe's pot stickers reporting, has been rectified anyway.
I heard an interview on NPR with him, and he's not stupid! He's actually fairly smart, AND he brought his mom to the interview, which I thought was super cute.
As a straight lady, I don't so much care about her boob's (although, woah!, Allison Brie), so much as I care about how much Annie was kicking ass last night! AND still retained her sweet side.
Love you Annie!
I agree about the meh thing. Is that REALLY how they're writing out Avery? Because I think that's bullshit, and not ok because the baby is just couple months old.
Oh God, I know, he's no where near as good looking as he used to be. PLUS, imagine all the bullshit she has to put up with, like, forever. It better be true love!
Everything involving Harry and Voldey in the trailer either doesn't happen or is wayyyyy different, which is why I've never been a huge fan of the movies. Although I did like the last one!
When I was kid in late elementary school and junior high (UGH junior high), there were several girls who bullied me for no reason that I still don't understand. I was also a kid who was lucky enough to have the internet. And guess what? The internet didn't make it any better! I still went to school everyday and got made of, and tripped and pushed in the lunch room and hallways. It sucked!
I'm glad that in your personal experience you had place to turn to, but that's a generalization (as Miss Rabbit is saying) that doesn't include everyone; and saying things like "But it also kind of gets you ready for life, you know?" makes it sound like kids should just grin and bear it, which can set a dangerous precedent.
I've been super confused the last couple of weeks because they keep mentioning Quinn and all the other ladies in Glee Club wanting to be prom queen, but aren't they juniors? Only seniors can become prom queen, rightttt?
I don't think it helps that Katherine Heigl has tried to make it clear in several interviews that she's a feminist, and then does disgusting, totally sexist movies like "The Ugly Truth."
I thought I was the only person who thought this (no I didn't, that ridiculous). I've thought this about a few shows, and I recently heard that Matthew Weiner wants to end Mad Men after season seven and got super excited because maybe Mad Men won't suck at the end? That would be great!
Also, I know we all love Arrested Development, but because it was so short nearly episode was amazing! So, maybe we should stop complaining (commence downvotes)?
An uncomfortable situation made even worse.
I don't know, when this was happening last year, I was uncomfortable with the internet bullying a LITTLE GIRL, and I think it becomes increasingly obvious with this revelation why she was so attention seeking.
THINK BEFORE YOU INTERNET!
I'm pretty late to the party, and we didn't get to discuss this last week, but isn't everyone just so PROUD OF LESLIE KNOPE!? Because I am!
Leslie is the best!
