And I double posted. Love a duck..
Gentlemen, meet your valet. I'm Bates.

First of all, Schumacher is not known for his discerning tastes. But if we're looking at who was the most appealing Batman I have to agree with him. He was serious and fun, but also incredibly sexy. Clooney was TOO fun and the rest were TOO serious. Keaton was good, but not sexy enough. Bale was just...robotic.
(p.s. I mean that in the losing weight sense, because I totally do not think Chaz is a loser in the regular loser sense. In my opinion, he is one really brave dude.)
This is what I think of when I think of '90s girl bands, but it was the late '80s. http://www.moviegoods.com/Assets/product_images/1020/195486.1020.A.jpg
No ultra-conservative children. ("we need a foil for this wacky mom, character--hey, why don't we make one of her KIDS a republican!")
So, I mentally applied real Les Mis roles to each of your suggestions: Britt Daniel for Valjean Aziz Ansari for Gavroche Ryan Gosling for Marius (double duh) Kelly Conaboy as Eponine Vincent Gallo for Thenardier (I originally cast Aziz for this, but I can change my mind, dammit) Chuck Bass for Marius' friend whatsisname Hugh Laurie as Javert Lil Wayne as Madame Thenardier ...AND Aubrey Plaza as Cosette
You mean all these years I've been burying my HEAD in the sand, I've been doing it wrong?!?!?!?!?
I wish Kyle Chandler were a lot of things to me, but my dad is definitely not one of them. (wink, wink, nudge, nudge, knowhatimean?)
Geez, cat. At least TRY to do a somersault.
As an oldie (and I like to think a goodie, too) I agree with Capu Flapu that my personal enthusiasm for the site used to be for the discussions in the comments. Gifs and one-liners are fun and all that, but just not my cup of tea. But, change and progress and growth all that shit... I also think that the "community" that used to be here has also branched out to twitter and facebook. It used to be that the only place that the monsters interacted was here on the site. So it was fun to see what everybody else was saying here. Obviously, I enjoyed the posts, but I really enjoyed the reactions to the posts. Now we are all over the place talking to each other. Additionally, how many people read the same blogs consistently for how long? How much of the old commenter drop off is due to the natural fickleness of blog-readers? As long as new readers are coming along, you don't really need us, do you? We'll always be around if you need someone, just maybe not, you know, the same way. I guess what I'm really going with here is that it's not you, it's me.
I like it. It's no foxmulderswristwatch.com, but not much is.
I'm trying to imagine what's in a KIRAccane. Champagne, kirsch, and essence of woodland fairy? (Let's just go with that.)
Clearly there was no animal cruelty involved--the one on the bicycle is smiling!
That 6-year-old had better stop letting those smiles creep through if she wants to be taken seriously.
I just want to point out what a good policy it is to slightly misquote a movie when linking to a video of that quote.
