Yeah, that was my favorite part from the recap. I posted it in my Gchat status as a sign of respect. Also, Max's Celebrity Cook Off recaps for Grantland were literary/humor gold. http://www.grantland.com/blog/hollywood-prospectus/post/_/id/40217/rachael-vs-guy-celebrity-cook-off-apocalypse 'What about a macaroni salad?' was the highlight of my year. Everything in 2012 is just aiming for 2nd place.
I hope Max keeps doing Top Chef recaps.
All of Paul's photos look like they were taken in the early 70s.

What's that movie where things are too fast and too furious?
Felt exactly the same. Essentially, it was just a waste of eleven and a half minutes, which in the grand scheme of my entire life is ok, but in the grand scheme of my night, was not ok.
Which would fall in line with my conspiracy of Asian-Americans taking over Yelp.
It seemed like in Nyesha's first episode of Top Chef everyone was really impressed by her resume. It seemed like to me she was the favorite. But then she just kept making dishes that seemed more appropriate for a Trader Joe's samples station (lots of prosaic-seeming combinations in my opinion).
Re Beverly making it back Yeah, I have a feeling one of two things will happen next week: Sarah or Lindsay will be eliminated and square off with Beverly in Last Chance Kitchen OR Beverly will win Last Chance Kitchen (against someone like Ed or Grayson) and the big tease for the episode in two weeks will be Beverly's return.
I feel glad to have been able to watch the following two things on LCK: 1. "The Toughest Man I've Ever Met" reading Tom's invitation to 'the kitchen' and then standing in the contestant's kitchen, waiting for Tom to show up. 2. Beverly being a bitch (or as much of a bitch as she could be) to Nayesha. I was skeptical about the value of Last Chance Kitchen but it has been consistently fun over the past few weeks, perhaps cresting with last night's webisode.
Yo yo, Chet Haze on some Larry Crowne shit, nah mean?
Shannon Elizebeth got "Chris Brown'd" by that car.
I imagine one way to start this conversation is by talking about the perceived intentions of the artists involved. This all amounts to individuals individually gauging the intentions of the artists based on the information available and whatever our own critical faculties may be. One may not perceive the same intentions as another observer or as the artist her/himself but I think treating this kind of situation in this manner respects the perspectives of others while at the same time allowing people to emotionally respond to something without feeling philosophically neutered in doing so. So for this specific situation it seems what bugs me at least and I think what seems to be bugging a lot of people about that part of Tracy Morgan's set is that judging from the words used the perception of his intentions seem to have been malicious. I think this has to do with the specificity of his words. To me, reading what he reportedly said, it seemed like he was trying to meaningfully create a specific argument about why being gay was bad or something of that negative nature. This caused me to view what he said in a negative light; therefore rendering it unenjoyable. I don't feel the same way about OFWGKTA. Their music has always seemed to me more about narratives than about commentaries, greater characterized (in my opinion) by the qualities of fiction rather than speech, essay, etc. In other words, I perceive their intentions in their music to be artistic intentions rather than intentions aspiring to be persuasive. It's a tough distinction but for me, an important one, as I'd like to be as open-minded to artistic possibilities as possible. Note, I'm not saying others should or should not do the same; I'm just saying how I feel about this with hopes of perhaps clarifying this confusion for others who feel similarly.
'It gets Eddard.'
Did you notice how when Kevin Bacon is making that speech to the baby X-Men and he says something about 'enslaving' and then the edit cuts right to a close up of Darwin?
the best part about this story was that he arguing with his wife about where his house was located. pretty typical marital argument.
