I'm not surprised about the timing of the interview, but his album out tomorrow isn't what made me want to listen to that song, and him having an album out tomorrow isn't what made him pick that exact same song. Not saying "it's a sign," just that it's a little crazy.
Totally weird thing that happened this morning: on my way to work I really wanted to Listen to "Decoration Day" (the song). Ended up playing it three times in a row. I thought about how it's one of DBT's best, and one of Isbell's best. Ended up getting to work and just sat in the parking lot listening to it one more time. Thought it was crazy that the gum posted an interview with him today of all days, and when I got to the part of him talk I,g about the song my heart skipped a beat. Absolutely magical.
Unfortunately his first solo album kinda whiffed it, which meant I didn't pay enough attention to the next one till later. Trupy great stuff. God in Chicago makes me cry every time.
THE QUARANTINE - Pour two hefty servings of whatever you have -Grab some fruit, citrus if you have it. Gotta stave off that scurvy -Drink, eat, repeat. -Stay safe, be good to eachother Love y'all
Paramore was a band I never really got into. Mostly cause I wasn't really into female vocals, no other reason than I was kinda a shitty teenager. I've gotten over it, and have tried listening, but it doesn't really do anything for me. That style of music mostly interests me now for purely nostalgia reasons, and I don't have any nostalgia for them. That being said, I've enjoyed what I've heard so far. I'll admit that my interest mostly came from the boygenius connection, but it's good on it's own merits. This song is not what I was expecting or hoping for, but it's very good nonetheless. Here's to tastes evolving!
Can only hear this in Craig Finn's voice

Have a great birthday! I don't usually get loaded, but I'll make an exception for you ; ) might go for a paddle first too if the weather's nice.
I'd love to see Baroness with AM! Unfortunately they're skipping Atlanta, which is a surprising shame.
Well, now that I'm officially old its's time to have a glass of work and shuffle off to bed at 6:24pm.
And you can play that playlist on anniversaries!
I just made a spotify playlist. No DJ was gonna meet my standards (we were also on a pretty tight budget).
Thinking about getting a face tattoo. Thumbs up for my avatar, thumbs down for the full lyrics to West Coast by FIDLAR
Pretty sure that's Achaemenidian king Darius I on the flyer, not Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar.
It's so much worse than that. "While making the album, Yellowcard had also developed a character, Holly Wood, who served as a narrator and protagonist for the album's storyline."
“Since it is very common for a fan of works produced for an artist by a specific producer to listen to other works by that same producer,” the complaint reads, “it is likely that Defendant Juice WRLD’s appreciation for the album From Under The Cork Tree led to exposure to Yellowcard’s album Lights And Sounds and the Original Work ‘Holly Wood Died.'” Yeah, when I was in fifth grade I was definitely choosing music based soley on the producer. What a fucking stupid argument.
Lotta kanye fans on twitter promising to not be fans anymore if he doesn't drop it. Like, this is the straw that broke your back?
