So despite the fact that, from the movie poster, The Trip looks awful, I will still probably see it because I love Rob Brydon. He's so funny! And Welsh!
Also, the kid from Terri went to my high school. And I actually did know him. We're friends on Facebook, donchaknow.
I think I made the right decision going to Berkeley. Here we just have fights between Muslim and Jewish student groups and overly-idealistic protests that don't really accomplish much but will be re-appropriated by the university administration in 20 years to sell Berkeley as a 'progressive' campus.
Well, I mean, I know a guy who at 17 nearly got arrested for grand theft and credit card fraud (or whatever those charges are called in England) for stealing someone's credit card then using it at a series of restaurants and bars in a drunken stupor but got off because the police couldn't prove it was him who signed all the bills. I also know a girl who started drinking at 13 and got a DUI at 17 and had to go to rehab.
So my teenage years were nothing like Skins, but some people's were.
Yes, honest. Like being honest about the fact that your parents are pastors and you tried to become famous as a gospel singer but failed miserably so now you'll do anything for attention? That kind of honesty?
What I also don't get is why someone would spend $20K on a vacation to India. Maybe prices have gone up recently (which is certainly possible), but my friend went to India for three months a few years ago and said he only spent something like $700USD.
