Got exposed to this album and Mezzanine in the same Summer. They both blew my mind. Psyence Fiction felt like a movie soundtrack with so many different people and twists on it. Lonely Soul is up there with Rabbit in Your Headlights

9/11 made Marilyn Manson obsolete. Putting out shitty albums did the rest. but hey - maybe it WAS Columbine that eventually led him to become obsessed with German Vaudeville Burlesque to impress his then Retro Pin-Up wife - AND make a whole album of it!! Maybe it was Columbine that got him to kick Twiggy out for that album (and the next one too).
