She was awesome in Moonrise Kingdom!
That is a fair point. I think we all know that about Dave. But I still think it seems weirdly unfriendly that Craig isn't even in the studio to watch the musicians or comedians that perform on his show - they just tape them separately and then edit them after his taped intro.
The host = Tim Conway
I can't wait for THE SOUP to mock all parties associated with those dumb Emmytone segments. A swing and a miss, Joel McHale.
Who's excited to see Paul Reiser on Jay Leno tonight?!?!
What the fuck is a german muffin?
And yet Zuckerberg still delivered his lines better than Lorne Michaels.
I liked this album when it came out. I still like it now. But nice that Stereogum can have it both ways with the positive review when it came out, and a negative review here. I look forward to another review of the album in another 6 months, when you guys deem the album "Kinda OK!"
Absolutely. You are your own pyramid of greatness, concert_addict.
35 comments and no Swanson chair throwing gif yet? I'll hang up and take my answer off the air.
But it's nice to see Olivia Munn branching out from being the worst part of The Daily Show to the worst part of NBC comedies* *not including Outsourced, which is not a comedy.
Ron Swanson's Bobby Knight sweater > Theo's Cosby sweater.
I wasn't crazy about "Discoverer" (it sounded too much like a "Turn You Inside Out" redux to me) but I like this song a lot. I also enjoy the concept of an album having a "trailer."
I liked "The Town." Is this the part of the part of the post where I say "downvote away?" Or should I have said that at the beginning?
I agree they were sloppy at Pitchfork, though when they played Chicago again in September they sounded fantastic and looked to be having a blast. I also watched the webcast of them playing at Matador21 a couple weeks after that and it was a total disaster, so basically they were vintage Pavement again.
I like how he tweeted this three days ago, but it took this long for anyone to even pay attention for what Billy Corgan's even saying anymore.
I thought it was taken from that college kid's terrible interview with Patton Oswalt, wasn't it? Or am I remembering wrong? Is Videogum just claiming ownership of the term after that interview? It all seems very weird to me.
But did any of those people have any regrets about appearing on a TV show? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTP_Go3GbZg
