Its probably a cop out excuse, but I think the women-as-objects trope works really well in the Jay Rock vid. They're all rapping about self loathing and self-destructive urges, and going over the top with it might serve as an acknowledgment that its fucked up. It def enters "becoming what you're critiquing territory" so i think its viewer's mileage may vary kinda thing, I would not try to defend it to someone who is disgusted by it.
