Dude, with the exception of "Tunnel Vision", the 2nd half of the album is epic.
Early favorite = "Beaches"
Lost in the heat of the grill
And lest we not forget, when Bon Iver released "Calgary", we all said how much it reminded us of Coldplay so that road goes both ways.
I think it's great! The further away they stay from Mylo Xyloto's colorful bullshit, the better. I did not care for that album especially being released after possibly their best album.
I got this one rubjohn... lol gay
I'm a grown man and "Two Doves" has brought me to tears more than once. Bitte Orca was one holy hell of an album!
Underscore with the clean sweep! No fucks were given that day.
Even further than being a more mainstream rapper, the other albums in that category (with maybe the exception of Yeezus) were all core rap/hip-hop albums whereas The Heist could be a rap album or a pop album depending on who you ask. It has nothing to do with him being white.
"Fuck Imagine Dragons!" - said everyone
I've always liked Drake's music, but his character just moved up 10 notches or so in my book!
I'm still not sure if I like Modern Vampires of the City better than Lonerism... I get it though, the voters now know who Vampire Weekend is and have no fucking clue who Tame Impala is.
Since when is James Blake a new artist? Also, Kendrick's album came out in 2012 so I don't know why we're voting on it now...
"Human" has to #1 for me; I was speechless the 1st time I heard that song.
Are you ready to smash some common sense?!?
Your #13 was my personal favorite.
For what it's worth, I'd like to see recipebear back in 2014.
83% of why I clicked on the article was the cover photo.
Surfer Blood - Pythons?
The Weeknd - Kiss Land :( I know the album title sucks but c'mon!
Lorde is invalid bullshit.
Upon first sight, "Till I Collapse (feat. Nate Dogg)" is the most obvious omission.
Heh, my favorite Drake track is all the way up at #83. Whatevs Stereogum, "Karaoke" is my shit!
Sir, not that they make bad music by any stretch of the imagination, but Jagwar Ma is shit compared to Tame Impala.
I still listen to Acid Rap on a very regular basis. It's probably the best mixtape I've heard since Drake's So Far Gone. Good things are coming Chance, good things.
Two things: X&Y is painfully low on this list AND Mylo Xyloto is without a doubt their worst album.
Don't jump the gun there mate; I really like "Titty Land".
Oh sweet nostalgia, welcome back!
I was hoping to hear snippets of new songs but this is basically just a "how-to" guide to drink a lot then get super nostalgic :(
I fucking like this band's music - there, I said it.
I just saw Passion Pit in Cleveland on Monday and they were FUCKING awesome!
I'd like to take this time now to thank James Murphy for writing such a nostalgic gem of a song. He is the real winner here; I'm merely one of his many advocates. I miss you LCD Soundsystem, I really do...
*scrolls to the bottom to make sure "All My Friends" is #1*
