I feel pretty sure Moffat is playing the long game here and will eventually explain the tardis blowing up thing even if it is in a way that makes no sense.
Of course, I never really expect Doctor Who to make sense. I just expect it to be cheesy and hilarious and suspenseful and awesome!

I was so excited when I first heard about Science of Sleep and so disappointed when I finally saw it. Gondry makes lovely music videos but does not seem able to handle a full length film.
The cat we had when I was little totally sat on the dashboard of the moving truck (of her own volition) for the entirety of the drive from Louisiana to Pennsylvania -- so not just a dog thing!!
