this probably applies to most bands honestly
not sure you can call the dude who wrote Backwoods Nation "apolitical"
I said what I said
the Green album is a power pop masterpiece that deserves to be viewed at the same level as Blue and Pinkerton
Yeah a lot of people who claim not to care about this still seem to get up in their feelings about it every year
the Early Influences and Musical Excellence Award is basically the Rock Hall equivalent of a baseball player getting in the HOF by the Veteran's Committee. They're still considered members of the Hall of Fame
The Monitor was my introduction to Titus, but Local Business was when I really fell in love with them
Man I spent way too much time trying to figure out where Edinburgh, South Carolina was
He says this like Springsteen's ever made a bad album
So.... They're working at the pyramid tonight? I'll see myself out
Feels more like "Spirit in the Sky" to me
I will. It's their best since Yoshimi. Fight me
I know this is probably an unpopular opinion, but of the four songs from Black that they've released, I've more or less liked them all to varying degrees. Assuming this bears out across the rest of the album, that at least puts it in the top half of their discography
