Yea Pussy Posse (gross, sorry)!
Damn. Should I be watching Brooklyn Nine Nine?
Well, Amy winning has made watching this totally worth it.
So true! But I really want to see it. Can someone tell us?!?!
Are they just making animated movies to turn them into Broadway musicals now?
She was! And these days I'm less likely to confuse her with Isla Fisher but I still have to really think about it sometimes.
Why has no one prepared a speech?!?! I mean c'mon peopleI I've had mine prepared for decades and I've never been in a movie or on TV!
That was so awkward I had to look away from the screen. Whew. I think I need waaay more wine.
I totally thought I'd be above "Jerry's Fart Attack" but I wasn't the first time and I wasn't this time either. So funny.
Well, I'm a dachshund gal myself so I'll have to root for these two. A chiweenie! http://r.ddmcdn.com/w_622/u_0/gif/ullie-32544_1784.jpg Same name as a Barry Manilow song! http://r.ddmcdn.com/w_622/u_0/gif/mandy-32544_1958.jpg
I like the Trumpy (Pod People) one a great deal and I agree that Manos is a classic. I also really like Werewolf because the closing credits are the best. I basically agree with all of artdork's suggestions. It's a shame more of the good ones aren't available on Netflix. I was first introduced to MST3K through the one hour shows in syndication (The Mystery Science Theatre Hour) because I didn't have comedy central. This is perhaps why I always fall asleep when watching it just past the hour mark. Even when I'm completely enjoying the show! So frustrating.
I went to a NYE party at a friend's house and there were lots and lots of children there. At some point, they put a song from Frozen on and every single kid was singing at the top of their lungs and I was like ok…..I mean whatever floats your boat I guess (I haven't seen it) but then I looked at my son and he was rolling his eyes and my heart swelled with pride.
I thought that I would not have seen any of these but I did see Frances Ha. Yea! Also, I'm going to see American Hustle tonight so that's two! What a great day I'm having. Next week I will have time to catch a movie during the day and I'm trying to decide if I should see Dallas Buyers Club or Nebraska. Decisions, decisions.
RuPaul's Drag Race is the best reality show!!!!! And Ru will never get fired for saying hateful things about groups of people. "If you can't love yourself, how the hell you gonna love anyone else? Can I get an amen?" I am so ready for Season Six to start!!!!
I somehow missed Daft Train and it was originally posted on my birthday!!! Man, my birthday could have been, like, 10% better. Oh well. Congrats viral videos! Wishing you much happiness and likes in the coming year.
But, if it was just me I'd marathon MST3K on Netflix.
The Ice Storm? Just kidding. I'm not that depressed. I'm snowed in with my 7 year old so we've watched: A Christmas Story, Home Alone, and Home Alone 2. And lots of Regular Show episodes.
A-a-mazing! Can't wait!!!!!
Paul Rudd is cute and 1D is obviously the best - even though I watched it with my husband who could only sit through part of their performances before fast forwarding (because we are old and have to DVR SNL). I did wonder though if a guy was as cute as Harry but not in 1D and American, would he really be able to walk around high school and not get beat up? Jebediah forever! I love him. He reminds me of the Wiig character that was also a movie critic - Aunt something? I also wonder how they decide which clip to put online because the clip posted was from dress rehearsal which is weird because it's not like it went better at rehearsal than on the show. I'm stuck at home for another snow day which is probably leading to my over thinking of this issue.

I will never forget.
Wait! Wait! This dog wants to be in cats! Give him a chance! http://s3-ec.buzzfed.com/static/2013-10/enhanced/webdr06/25/17/anigif_enhanced-buzz-8300-1382736522-32.gif
Darn it! I sat through this movie and then missed the discussion! Oh well, I do love the recap and reading your comments. One thing I haven't seen mentioned is that the Grandma says "I was on Broadway once" or something like that at several points in the movie and I don't know if that's ever explained or if I just missed it. I have to admit I may not have been giving this movie my full attention. I also really enjoyed the ice skating.
Good lord. Can a ghost die? Cuz that killed me (again!).
If I weren't dead already "baby elephant's first year" would have done it. Good grief it was adorable!!!!!!!
Just wait until I write my rate my professor review! (hint: you're not going to be hot)
Oh the internets. You never cease to amaze me.
My husband says the plot is "here's a cat - here's a song with it's name in it - let's sing said song while that cat dances - now everyone dance! - wait here's another cat" repeat, repeat.
I think if you're the cat who's lived the saddest life (or maybe sang the best song) then at the end you get to fly up to cat space. That's what I took away from it. They just need to do it with CGI cats singing and dancing and it will be the best (and by best I mean worst).
I'm supposed to believe that neither of those background dancers can beat box? I mean, the whistling's cool and all but I need a beat!
Oh my. Well, now we share that horrible knowledge together.
I'm watching it now but I'll save my thoughts for the club. What I would like to say is that on at least two occasions when I heard the name Melissa Joan Hart, I thought she had an affair with some dude she was in a movie with who was also married and then they both got divorced and married each other. But then I realized that that was Leanne Rimes. But I still thought that exact same thing later. Why is that?
