Oh, sorry, I wasn't actually invited to meet up with anyone, but I did bring up the idea of a Chicago Monster Pizza Party on a different thread the other day.
Ugh, this is embarrassing. I've never actually met any of you in real life, but have seen that some of you go to trivia nights together and what not. I was just trying to join the fun because my real life friends all had babies, and apparently that means they can't hang out anymore. So, I guess now I'm trying to make internet friends into real friends?
I love the People's Court, and the Doctors used to come on right after that. I would usually try to change the channel as quickly as possible to avoid being sucked into the horror stories they would tell.
Also, saw a clip on the Soup last night from the Dr. Oz show where a lady told Dr. Oz her belly button smelled, so he leaned down and sniffed it. Then he made the girl sitting next to her sniff it. Ugh Dr. shows.
I have a psychologist for my OCD who is awesome. We are close in age and she likes great music and great tv. She is moving, so I only have one appointment left with her.
Now I have to get a new psychologist and a new blog.
I have not brought up Videogum during our sessions, but it is odd how often I bring this site up to show someone a funny video or quote one of the commenters. I waste a lot of time on the internet, and this is the best internet community.
If you are in Chicago this weekend, we should set up some kind of Chicago monster pizza party. I would totally come unless it is -20 or snowing.

I have spent probably far too many hours reading and posting on here. Or trying to come up with a comment witty enough to get upvotes. I did get in the Monster's ball once, and was entirely too proud of that accomplishment.
I really hope there is a way to keep this site up and running. Kelly, you have done a great job.
If Videogum cannot continue, can a bunch of monsters start a makeshift blog so we can still make fun of things like a family???
Speaking of selfies...
So the other day I saw part of a new show called the Rich Kids* of Beverly Hills. It was a terrible nightmare but also hilarious.
One of the girls is looking to move out of her parents house, and when shown a 3 million dollar condo, has to test the lighting in the room to make sure she can get a good selfie. The 5 million dollar house was nice, but, "Who would clean the pool? Who would schedule someone to come clean the pool?" These are literally the things she was worrying about when purchasing real estate.
*They are not kids because they are all in their 20s.
