Milk Music – “No, Nothing, My Shelter” Video

Milk Music released a statement today saying they will not be playing live shows anymore. Album Of The Week: Milk Music Cruise Your Illusion

When people describe Olympia, Washington, they usually talk about it as a deep-wooded, weeded-out hippie enclave, but I’m not sure they get across how much of a deep-wooded, weeded-out hippie enclave it really is. Milk Music – “Cruising With God”

The fuzzed-out Pacific Northwestern punks Milk Music will release their new album Cruise Your Illusion next month, and for those of us who still love damaged and battered guitar flare-ups, that is a very good thing indeed. Stereogum Monthly Mix: January 2013

By the end of last year, compiling Monthly Mixes became a sad task. Each month I’d scan in sadness, watching our strongest songs presented as straight-to-Soundcloud affairs, our music business continuing its inexorable shift away from the transferrable file, now even in its promotional form. So either this month represents a momentary lapse, or artist… More »

Milk Music – “Violence Now”

Olympia, WA outfit Milk Music is a thrashing rock band in the tradition of someone like Hüsker Dü and a group whose live fury is well-documented (listen to this awesome WFMU session from last year). They’re about to head out on tour, but before they do, they dropped an official version of their chugging “Violence… More »
