Psychic Twin – “Dream State”

Psychic Twin, the promising project of Erin Fein and Brett Sanderson, dropped the a-side to their “Strangers” 7″ for Polyvinyl earlier this month. Its flip-side, “Dream State,” still wins on the tonal mesh of Fein’s superb vocal and Sanderson’s lush, arpeggiated synths, and on the fact that their brand of electro is very clearly pop-oriented. Synth pop trio Psychic Twin have released the A-side of their upcoming 7″, Strangers, due out next month. In the title track, Erin Fein accompanies her own layered vocals in order to create an illusory group of background singers.
