Jimmy Fallon’s done some impressive musical impressions on Late Night, so he brought out a few more for the Emmy Awards last night. He used Elton John, Boyz II Men, and Green Day to eulogize some of the big shows that ended this year (and recycled the 40oz pour out he used when saying goodbye to Conan O’Brien). He also opened the show with a Glee-themed rendition of Springsteen’s “Born To Run.” Watch:

Jens Lekman Covers Boyz II Men

Motown Philly’s back again, this time in the Swedish hands of Jens Lekman. It’s true, the silent one did a cover of Boyz II Men’s “Water Runs Dry” a couple nights ago at ~~Google~~ Googie’s Lounge as part of his “special guest” role for countrywoman and labelmate Frida Hyvönen . Boys II Men’s original showcased their four voices and flowing white linens: Boys II Jens is Lekman by his lonesome, accompanied by a piano and the Men’s sweet sweet words.
