Well, great. Mr. Milch, can we get our summer Sunday nights back? HBO’s cancelled John From Cincinnati, which probably was the sensible thing to do. But with so much unresolved and so many hours trying to parse the plot from the “I don’t know Butchie instead”s, we’re feeling the burn. Anybody make it to the series finalé? Care to explain it? (And according to that CNN article, HBO has “yet to decide the fate of its other summer freshman series, the comedy Flight of the Conchords.” Perhaps a marathon is in order.)

Despite the missteps and confusion over at HBO, all is not lost for the once mighty cable network. They still have Entourage which, cartoonish as it can be, is up for a Outstanding Comedy Series Emmy. Still counts for something, right? And like any show in love with its own hip factor, Entourage is getting a soundtrack release, courtesy of Downtown/Atlantic (which would help explain why Cold War Kids and Gnarls are on it; what no Art Brut?). Last night my friends and I tuned into our Sunday night routine, watched The Sopranos and then Entourage. (Glad to see Ari getting his ?anger? back.) Any idea what the tune was that rolled during the credits of Entourage? Sounded Brit New-Rave but we couldn?t put an artist with it and HBO is no help today. Thanks for any help you can provide.
