The most fabulous Roots crew have a new record out soon, and it looks like they’re raising awareness by any means necessary: whether that entails collaborating with a Fall Out boy (see “Birthday Girl“), enlisting a porn star in their video (ditto), or doing two live performances in three nights for Comedy Central. The first came Sunday night as part of the charitably motivated Night Of Too Many Stars, and then last night ?uestlove and guitarist Captain Kirk Douglas joined together to do two quick ditties for The Colbert Report: Dorito’s Spicy Sweet Pennsylvania Primary Coverage, in their hometown (Chill-adelphia, The City Of Brotherly Crunch, if you’re up on your Stephen’s brought-to-you-by-Doritos-lingo).
