Who knows if Kenny G or even Weezer is in on the joke at this point, but the performance itself, and watching The G walk out with his curls and start laying out the offensively inoffensive sax licks over “I’m Your Daddy,” is a guaranteed smile — particularly when he and Rivers lock eyes and grin on “this ain’t improbable,” which seems to have become a credo for latter day Weezer. Also, Rivers and Kenny are ageless just like Keanu. Anyway there are two more for you, too: Instead of Leighton Meester on “If You’re Wondering” this Spinner set brings Sara Bareilles, and it actually came out great (because Sarah actually can sing), along with Chamillionaire replacing Weezy on “I Can’t Stop Partying,” laying down a de novo verse which doesn’t focus on the Weezer/Weezy wordplay similarity because Chamillionaire is a smart rapper, that’s how he’s made chamillions of dollars.

You’ve heard the countless jokes about bigwigs profiting from the Iraqi war as well as separate guffaws about that $10 million bat mitzvah — well, now you can cut corners and combine ‘em into one punchline: David Brooks, founder and chairman and chief executive officer of DHB Industries, the main supplier of body armor to U.S. soldiers fighting in Iraq, got busted for embezzling millions, along with other shenanigans, all so he could afford tacky striped shirts, get his ex-wife a facelift, keep his 100 horses on vitamins, drive an armored car, and throw his daughter, Elizabeth, that mega bat mitzvah that brought 50 Cent, Tom Petty, Kenny G, Aerosmith, and the Eagles to the Rainbow Room in November 2005. Via the NY Post:

He allegedly reaped $185 million by selling DHB stock when he learned that 6,000 bullet-proof vests the company made were about to be recalled for being faulty and not able to block bullets.

That’s right, 50, you’d better stock up on some new designer vests.

Another crime in all of this, of course, is inviting Kenny G and Eagles to a 13 year old’s party. Even bigger infraction? Also via the Post: “In honor of [Aerosmith's] appearance, Brooks changed from a black leather suit into a magenta suede biker outfit covered with chains.” If convicted, dude could get life in prison — for profiteering and embarrassing poor Elizabeth like that, you totally deserve it, schmuck.

You know you wanna know. And it’s not as Yacht Rock heavy as you’d expect! Here’s a look at your #1:

Did you know that in addition to being the best musician golfer and the world’s most irritating sax player, Kenny G is also one of the original ten investors in Starbucks (and set for life on that alone)? Someone explain “retirement” to him. Please.

The rest of the top 5 includes Vince Gill (#2), Marty Roe, Steve Azar, and No Doubt’s Adrian Young (#5). It’s no surprise that at #44, Snoop Dogg knows his way around the green (ha). And best back-to-back rankings? Bob Dylan at #63, followed by Celine Dion at #62. All that time in Vegas is doing her good! Here’s the list:

100. Pink
99. Steven Tyler
98. Lance Bass
97. Natalie Maines
95. Kid Rock
95. Nick Lachey
92. Riche Sambora
92. Tommy Lee
92. André 3000
91. Charlie Daniels
90. Clint Black
89. Raekwon
87. Mike Jones
87. Marc Antony
82. Jason Mraz
82. Eddie Money
82. Chris Kilmore
82. Peter Cetera
82. Flea
81. Meat Loaf
79. Fee Waybill
79. Joey McIntyre
76. Graham Nash
76. Brian McKnight
