But lest you mistake the tune for a shiny-happy-people singalong, let&#8217;s clarify: &#8220;Fort Hood&#8221; was inspired by soldiers&#8217; post-traumatic stress disorder, as witnessed by Mike, whose dad&#8217;s a Vietnam vet.
