Mister Heavenly – “Bronx Sniper” Video

The bands led by Honus Honus seem to have a way, of late, with mega-fun violent gang chaos in their videos. Last week brought us Man Man’s clip for “Pirhanas Club,” with its mob of baby greasers. And today, we get director Corey Adams’s clip for “Bronx Sniper,” in which a little kid’s action figure… More »

FYF Fest 2011 In Photos

FYF Fest, which has had issues with security and crowds in previous years, seems to have moved past those problems and evolved into a healthier, happier festival. Watch Mister Heavenly Debut With Michael Cera On Bass

Mister Heavenly, the recently-signed-to-Sub-Pop supergroup, is Man Man’s Honus Honus and Islands’s Nick Thorburn (who met over their love of all-denim outfits aka “Canadian tuxedos”), and Modest Mouse drummer Joe Plummer. The band just started their first tour with Passion Pit, and they’ve enlisted Canadian actor Michael Cera on bass. Cera, if you recall, starred… More »
