Parakeet – “Tomorrow” Video (Stereogum Premiere)

A couple of months ago, we heard a cut called "Tomorrow" from Yuck bassist Mariko Doi who dwells under the name Parakeet in this particular solo jaunt. Parakeet – “Tomorrow”

Like her Yuck bandmate Daniel Blumberg, bassist Mariko Doi has her own band going on the side, a band called Parakeet with The History Of Apple Pie's James Thomas. Their first single is called "Tomorrow" and it's a swirling guitar jam with Mariko handling the vocals. Download it below. More »
