L.A. musician and avowed Hives fan Jason Shapiro has filed a plagiarism suit against the Swedes because he says “Tick Tick Boom”‘s guitar riff sounds too similar to his “Why You?,” which he recorded with the Roofies in 1997 and with Three Way in 2002.
