My two favorite music videos this week were slow, lyrical depictions of combat sports full of squalid shots of slovenly audience members and slow-motion images of gladiators at work. Lambchop – “Gone Tomorrow” Video

Nashville veterans Lambchop now have a video for their beautifully sprawling seven-minute country-soul ramble “Gone Tomorrow,” and it’s a good one. In director Zack Spiger’s clip, Lambchop frontman Kurt Wagner drives a massively bearded buddy, played by real-life wrestler Josephus Brody, so he can compete in a local small-time wrestling league.
