except sara quin would probably be much better off as a solo artist. their stylings don't match at all. it would be a weird/bad collaboration.

different strokes for different folks, geoff. i don't really like consistency in albums. it gets boring if all the songs sound the same (which is why i'm not a fan of vampire weekend). microcastle is a lot more consistent than cryptograms in many respects. though, i understand why deerhunter is not some people's cup of tea.

as for ben folds, i'm not a big fan of his voice and his songs are a little too poppy for my taste.. and as for this performance, i think regina definitely out shined him. she put him to shame..
