Years ago, watching this U.K. ad for an insurance company called Swiftcover would have been as shocking as the Stooges very presence was in the ’60s. These days, it shouldn’t really surprise anyone how easily Iggy Pop’s allowed himself to become a dummy. If he’s not hawking sweet premium rates in a convertible with a puppet version of himself, he’s up to something about as silly (see: this).
