“I Saw Her Face,” the excellent new single from the Brooklyn band the Men, sounds like the sort of classic rock song that’s been on rotation on certain stations for decades, except covered in a couple of coats of grimy scuzz. It makes sense, then, that the song’s music video, the first proper one the band has made, shows them playing, but layers on enough crude video effects that you can barely see them half the time. The band themselves direct, so they can thank themselves for the scene where smoke comes out of a guitar during a solo. Watch it below.
The Men’s new album New Moon is out now on Sacred Bones, and it’s a keeper.
