Last year, the cerebral electronic producer Four Tet released Pink, an excellent collection of the singles he’d been releasing, tracks that were more dancefloor-directed than almost anything he’d done before. Now, Thom Yorke’s Atoms For Peace project has remixed “Pyramid,” one of the highlights of Pink, turning it into nearly eight minutes of chilly, rippling electro. It’s not often that Thom Yorke remixes a dance producer’s track and makes it even more dancey, but that’s what’s going on here. It’s a very good remix, and you can hear it below.
Yorke and Four Tet have met before; they both collaborated with Burial on the 2011 tracks “Ego” and “Mirror.”
