The Swedish duo I Break Horses make a form of synthetic shoegaze that aims to prove just how comforting and soothing shoegaze can actually be. Their 2011 debut Hearts was a minor heartbreaker, and while they have yet to announce any plans for a follow-up, they’re about to drop a new white-label single with a couple of new songs. One of those songs is “Denial,” a softly sweeping song that moves the group away from shoegaze and toward straight-up synthpop. Listen to it below.
