Ab-Soul – “Christopher DRONEr”

When Black Hippy’s Ab-Soul released the video for breakout single “Terrorist Threats,” its off-putting 9/11 footage, on top of the lyrics, gave way to support that Soulo might have a bit of a conspiracy theorist in him. He is certainly the most straight-forwardly political member of the crew and he further pads that assertion with “Christopher DRONEr.” The song, which continues his discussion on war and the way people are used in it, is named for LAPD and US Navy Reserve officer Christopher Dorner (who went on a killing spree earlier this year) but flipped to play on similarly-spelled, oft-debated unmanned war vehicle . Check out the combatant track below.
