Lately, a bunch of Lana Del Rey leaks have been showing up on the internet: “Black Beauty,” “Maha Maha,” the Lady Gaga dis “So Legit.” The latest is an unfinished demo of a song called “True Love On The Side,” and you can tell why this one never got finished. It’s, speaking simply, an absolute mess, LDR wailing all over what sounds like a Fruity Loops bedroom-producer approximation of Run-DMC’s “King Of Rock.” It has none of LDR’s smoky mystery, and it is ridiculous. This song aside, these latest LDR leaks have been pretty impressive, and I’m looking forward to hearing what she can do when she gets around to album number two.
