The Adult Swim Singles Series regularly roams wildly across genre boundaries, but most of the tracks that the Cartoon Network tycoons give us for free are, in one way or another, fun. But I’m not sure anyone’s going to use the F-word in describing the eight-minute minimal-bass swarm “Anytime Soon,” which comes from the Manchester producer Andy Stott. As he did with his acclaimed Luxury Problems album last year, Stott keeps the track slowly building and percolating, never allowing it to explode into full-on dance music. Listen below.
