Seattle surf noir quartet La Luz will release their excellent debut full-length, It’s Alive, this October. “Pink Slime” is a deft display of their ability to combine beachy lo-fi with dark girl-group sensibilities, the “noir” being especially emphasized by the eerie-yet-fun organ.
