Tegan And Sara’s synthpop single “Closer” is a year old at this point, and it was always a pretty big song in our circles, but it blew the fuck up in a pop-radio sense when they virally performed it with Taylor Swift last month. And now they’re the type of group who gets to perform on morning news-magazine programs.
