The latest gush from Arcade Fire’s Reflektor promotional fount is a 2:30 teaser video for “Afterlife,” one of the songs they performed live on SNL last month. The clip almost entirely comprises Haitians who might or might not be heading to an Arcade Fire concert, save for a brief glimpse of one of those masks from the “Reflektor” video. Musically, it’s mostly dramatic instrumental stuff that wouldn’t sound out of place on a Sigur Rós record, followed by some vocoder action. You’ll either find it intriguing or confounding; decide below.
