Solander – “All Opportunities” (Stereogum Premiere)

The Swedish band Solander is about to tour Scandinavia with José González’s band Junip, which makes a lot of sense because Solander sounds a lot like González crossed with Sigur Rós — i.e. intimate incandescent folk-rock blown out to celestial proportions. They’re already gaining steam on their home turf, and the forthcoming Monochromatic Memories is their bid to expand that success worldwide. “All Opportunities,” the album’s lead single, makes a good case for them. Listen to it below.

Monochromatic Memories is out in January via A Tenderversion. Look for North American tour dates this spring around SXSW time.
