Floridian post-punks Merchandise have undergone quite a transformation since we named them one of the best new bands back in 2012. They expanded from a duo to a five-piece, moved into dreamier territories with last year’s Totale Night, and signed to 4AD. While we’re waiting for their debut with the label, we have the dark and lurching “Begging For Your Life / In The City Light” to hold us over. The song first appeared on a split tour cassette with Chelsea Light Moving at the end of the last year and is now being reissued on vinyl. You can hear the edit of the 14-minute song below.
