Watch Dave Grohl, Eurythmics, Katy Perry Cover The Beatles On The Night That Changed America

Last night, on the 50th anniversary of the Fab Four’s performance on Ed Sullivan, CBS aired The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute To The Beatles. The special, which was filmed in Los Angeles last month, featured performances by Maroon 5, John Mayer, Imagine Dragons, Pharrell Williams & Brad Paisley, Stevie Wonder, and the guests of honor Paul McCartney & Ringo Starr. We’ve got a couple of clips below. First is Dave Grohl and Jeff Lynne’s cover of “Hey Bulldog,” which is preceded by a short speech where the Foo Fighter talks about the universality of having the same favorite band as his mother and his young daughter. Second, you can watch the previously reported reunion of UK synth pop duo Eurythmics performing “Fool On The Hill.” Annie Lennox absolutely nails it. Finally, Katy Perry attempts “Yesterday.” Watch ‘em all below.
