You could see the Pusha T/Dum Dum Girls/Charli XCX-led bill at House Of Vans, OR Speedy Ortiz/Perfect Pussy, et. al. at the French Legation Museum, OR Future Islands/The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart at Flamingo Cantina, OR Drowners/Skaters/Chloe Howl at Holy Mountain OR … etc., etc. And the nighttime shows are even better, with headliners including Damon Albarn, Against Me!, Windhand, Kurt Vile, Tyler, The Creator, and a pair of rappers shilling for Samsung (pictured above). The only way to avoid seeing good music today is to avoid Austin altogether.
