Mark Lanegan is having a really good year. He’s already helped out his buddy J Mascis by doing vocals on the new Sweet Apple album, and soon you’re gonna hear him tear up the new Earth album (yes, Earth will have vocals on their next album!). But he also put out No Bells On Sunday, a new release that had the great synth-and-motorik-driven single “Sad Lover.” Now Josh Homme has remixed “Sad Lover,” because odds are he likes Mark Lanegan as much, or more, than you do. The remix pulls out those heavy drums and replaces them with minimal, bubbling synths, which makes for a welcome addition. Listen to it below.
