Earlier this year, Californian hardcore warriors Trash Talk and Brooklyn internet-rap drug-munchers Flatbush Zombies teamed up for “97.92,” a song from the Converse-sponsored CONS EP VOL. 1. It had a really great video. Now, there’s a CONS EP VOL. 2, and it’s got the two groups teaming up again. Trash Talk’s Garrett Stevenson produced the new track “Modern Mayhem,” but as with “97.92,” its sound is closer to the dusty throwback boom-bap that the Zombies often favor.
