In 2012, Mount Eerie gave us two excellent albums — Clear Moon and Ocean’s Roar — and for his next trick, Phil Elverum will release a double album called Sauna. Now you can watch him perform a Sauna track called “Dragon,” recorded during an acoustic session for the Pinball Session. The format gives us a good chance to soak in his lyrics, which are steeped in nature imagery; though considering the way Elverum works, this could end up sounding more like a black metal song by the time we hear it on the album.
