Spaced-out astral traveler Flying Lotus is preparing to unleash his new album You’re Dead! upon the world, and he’s already shared two of the album’s superstar collaborations: “Moment Of Hesitation,” with Herbie Hancock and Thundercat, and “Never Catch Me,” with Kendrick Lamar. Today, we get to hear a song that doesn’t have a big-name guest, though it does have a ghostly choir of unidentified vocalists. The psychedelic, woozy “Coronus, The Terminator” sounds almost like a spaghetti-western theme, heard through an eminently stoned soul-jazz filter. Give it a listen below.
You’re Dead! is out 10/7 on Warp.
