Rich Gang is weird sort of amorphous rap crew that Cash Money magnate Birdman has been running lately; it’s basically Birdman and whoever happens to be in the room with him at any given moment. Birdman’s about to head out on tour with rising Atlanta weirdos Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan, and now they’ve put together a collaborative mixtape together. That means this is the first straight-up new mixtape from Young Thug — one that he’s put together, rather than his old label bosses — in months, and it’s reason to get excited. Thug has a powerful working chemistry with Rich Homie and Birdman, and I’ve been waiting for this thing to come out all day. It’s finally online now. Check it out below.
