Yesterday, Weezer released their new album Everything Will Be Alright In The End. I haven’t read a single person claiming that the album sucks, and it’s been a long time since I’ve been able to say that about a Weezer album. So that should be cause for a celebration, and last night, the band marked the occasion by playing the outdoor festival stage on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Throughout the performance of the album opener “Ain’t Got Nobody,” Rivers Cuomo looked bored and annoyed — like, more than usual — but things crackled to life when he and guitarist Brian Bell played simultaneous shredded-out guitar solos. Watch the performance below.
Everything Will Be Alright In The End is out now on Republic.
