On the single “Attak,” the Glaswegian dance-music maximalist Rustie and the Detroit rap wolverine Danny Brown teamed up for an all-out blitzkrieg of a track. It wasn’t like you could make “Attak” any faster or harder, so Rustie went the other way. He got Michael “5000” Watts, the man behind the long-running Houston rap indie Swisha House, to screw and chop the song, slowing it to an ominous crawl. Download Watts’ remix below.
Rustie’s new album Green Language is out now on Warp.
