The Growlers – “Good Advice” Video (Stereogum Premiere)

The Orange County-based band the Growlers released their latest record, Chinese Fountain, back in September, and today they’ve shared a video for the single “Good Advice.” We caught the Growlers last weekend at Beach Goth Fest, an event that the band has thrown for the past three years alongside other surf- and psych-derivative acts. In the “Good Advice” video, the band performs to a scant audience of wide-eyed evangelists in a creepy clapboard pioneer church. Lead singer Brooks Nielsen waves a snake around as he presents his sermon. Check out the band’s European tour dates and watch the video below.
