Alt-J’s “Left Hand Free” has gotten a remix from Norwegian producer and rapper Lido, who chops up the crunchy rock of the original until it’s virtually unrecognizable. He adds his own lyrics and effects to the track that add to the song’s “showdown in the Wild West” vibe: ominous whistles ring out in the background, a high-pitched voice sings, “shoot me down, bang bang.” Lido pretty much takes everything he likes about the song and uses it as his playground, leaving the rest in the dust.
