Stevie Nicks "Blue Water"

Fleetwood Mac began to pick up momentum again after that brief reunion with Christine McVie in late 2013, which culminated in a full-fledged reunion and the extensive On With The Show Tour last year. But it didn’t stop there, because Stevie Knicks decided to bless us with her own new solo album of unreleased songs, 24 Karat Gold: Songs from the Vault. One of the new tracks on that record is “Blue Water,” a paean to the tidal nature of our pulsing lives. On the record Lady Antebellum provide harmonies for the song, but in this solo rendition Nicks’ signature, gruffy alto is front and center. I only wish I was driving down PCH staring at the ocean when she sings the line “the sea is as moving as a lover.” Watch the stunning performance below.
