The Rich Gang: Tha Tour Part 1 mixtape — for my money, the best mixtape anyone released in 2014 — was a truly collaborative affair from Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan. But the tape opened with “Givenchy,” which, other than an amazing triumphant shit-talking Birdman intro, was entirely a wonderful and deranged solo showcase for Thug. The song’s new video is nothing special; it’s just bleary and low-budget rapping-at-a-party footage. But it’s always fun to watch Thug, and it’s great to have that Birdman intro immortalized on film, even if the camera never shows one of the gold terlets he mentions. (The camera does show a chandelier, but come on, I know what a chandelier looks like. It’s not that impressive.) Watch the video below.
